Trade Shoots

A girl bared shoulders and a short a line hair cut and golden nose rings. captured at golden hour on the banks of the jordan river with grass and cattails growing behind her.

Occasionally I will be open to doing trade shoots or volunteer for free shoots. Below is my policy and how I do them. Read through it carefully.

Before the shoot:

Every trade shoot I schedule, I spend at minimum $100 dollars on it. For gear, occasionally props and other things. So please, make sure you’ve checked your schedule and can commit to the shoot when we’ve scheduled it.

  1. Please, be communicative. I try and respond ASAP to help things move along.

  2. My communications will remain professional and appropriate, I expect the same from you.

  3. Please if you need to cancel, try and give at least 48hrs notice so I have time to find a replacement, and not lose the Money I have invested into the shoot.

At the Shoot:

  1. You’re always welcome to bring someone with you. Always. I expect your companion to be supportive, and not a distraction.

  2. Your comfort and safety is top priority. Boundaries will be respected by all parties involved.

  3. I will 99% of the time have someone with me, If I can’t I will let you know beforehand.

  4. If you’re a new model, learn as much as you can while not in front of the camera, find models you admire, Google poses, practice in front of the mirror, learn how your body moves, where your comfort level lives, and let go of the worry of looking silly. I won’t post those photos, and you wont, so no one will ever see them :) Confidence is key! We are two artists coming together to create one piece of art. Photographers spend countless hours on their craft and you, as a model, should be as well, and the photos will show that! (That’s the end of my TED talk ;) )

  5. I am always open to experimenting with new ideas so feel free to suggest things.

After the shoot:

  1. I will send you a link to the whole shoot in low resolution files and watermarked. These are for viewing only and are not for posting. This allows you to see the whole shoot and choose the final images you feel represent your goals best.

  2. I will edit TEN final images.

  3. Please, don’t crop out my logo.

  4. Please don’t use filters on the photos, If you absolutely must use one, please specify that you applied the filter.  I don’t want other models or photographers thinking I use IG quality filters on my final images. I hope that is understandable.

  5. Please allow 2-3 weeks for me to edit the photos.

  6. When you post, please tag my respective social medias as I will for yours when I post them on my accounts.

  7. If you want more images, I am open to editing more at a “per photo” cost, starting at $15 dollars an image.

  8. The copyright of the photo’s remains with the photographer. By agreeing to these terms you and I both agree that the images will be used on social media and for advertising purposes. If the images are to be used on any platforms that require a subscription, if you or I plan on selling individual images to fans or supporters or if the images are used for any other kind of financial gain, we agree that that information must be shared with each other and that a percentage of sales will go to the other. Details of that agreement will be made separate from this agreement.

By filling out the information below you agree to the above terms. Please submit before we shoot! If you wish to receive a copy of this agreement indicate it in the message section.

These things are negotiable as well, so if something doesn’t work for you let me know and we can work something out. I know that was a lot to read haha! After all that business, the goal is to have fun and create beautiful photos!

Let’s shoot!!!
